NewsLetter March 2006

Message from the Vicar

Dearly beloved in Christ,

Dearly Beloved in Christ, Wish you all a very blessed and happy new year. By the grace of God we could enter into another year. The world has witnessed so many unpleasant incidents like the devastating Tsunami in the Asian countries, horrific hurricanes and inhuman activities of extremism and terrorism in different parts of the world. Even our sunshine state has suffered big loss due to hurricanes. It is the time to look back and praise God for the wonderful care and protection we experienced. Let us be more dedicated to our Lord and be renewed by his spirit. We often wish we could see what lies around the corner in life. Then we could prepare for it, control it, or avoid it. A wise person has said: though we cant see around the corners, God can. How much better and reassuring that is. Even though we do not know what the future holds for us let us be people who do know that God holds us. As we enter into another year, let us praise God for all the manifold blessings He has been showering upon us. God is faithful in keeping His Word-from the beginning to the end of the year, I will keep my eye on you and guard you. It is a time to evaluate our relationship with God and others. If we have fallen short of Gods expectations, let us pray that he will help us to live a witnessing life. I appreciate and thank all, especially the executive committee members of 2005 for their valuable support and contributions and welcome the cooperation of the incoming committee members. A year comes to us not as a single entity, but through moments and days. A year is blessed when each moment is used in a blessed way. Let us not just simply add days to our life, but add life to our days. May God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob continue to guide us in the days to come.

I wish all of you a very blessed New Year.
Alexander Tharakanachen.
